Dasaswamedh Ghat of Varanasi :

Lord Brahma sacrificed ten horses so that Lord Shiva could return from a period of banishment, just because of that ten sacrificed horses this Ghat is called as Dasaswamedh Ghat . It is one of those abundantly thoughtful places in Varanasi where you can see the summarily graceful flow of the river Ganges causal to the prosperous of humanity. Due to the pilgrims throng the temple premise even during the month of monsoon this ghat is most popular. This Ghat is one of the most popular pilgrim spots.

They sit under cane umbrellas and offers prayers to the dead souls. A few steps away, into the river, stand the boatmen with their boats; they are always keen on persuading the customers for a ride.

      There are so much colorful and beautiful riverfront view from this Ghat where you can see more than a few Sadhus (Mendicant) performing religious rites here. After the Aarti in the evening, a lot of earthen lamps are plunge in the waters of the holy Ganges and due to these the river gets a divine look at dusk.
