This mannerism is measured very favorable and that is why Banaras has a special meaning amongst the Ganges Baths. There are three most significant Ghats are Manikarnika, Dasaswamedh and Panch-Ganga. If you have taken a bath on these three ghats is called Tri-Tirtha Yatra. Here is also two most important Ghats Assi Sangam and Varuna Sangam. If some one have taken a bathe in these five places is call Panch-Tirtha Yatra.
First of all you have to take bathe in Assi Ghat, then Dasaswamedh Ghat, then the Ghat by the Adi Keshava Temple near the Varuna River, then Panch-Ganga and then Manikarnika. After taking bath at these five places, most pilgrims then go for 'Darshan' of Vishwanath, Annapurna, and Sakshi Vinayaka (the witnessing Ganesh).
